2014 Toyota Highlander SUV 4DR XLE
Here's a review of the 2014 Toyota Highlander SUV 4DR XLE, seen from the roof rack fixed shelves 27 inches apart and then can not move beyond 27 inches for larger separation. But I have not been able to find after market roof rack that will fit on the roof for greater separation. Toyota has claimed to have researched this issue by asking the experts. Toyota is also discussed no one uses the shelf anyway. LOL. If you only need to carry bikes, surfboards, kayaks, canoes, etc. You have to take them to the shelf only 27 inches apart. All the equipment back again to your taste
